This past Monday (May 3rd) Aria turned one. We decided to throw a party in order to celebrate this milestone with family and a few friends. We had a good time, and even though I was super worried Aria would be overwhelmed with all the people, she loved the commotion and excitement! This has been a truly wonderful year for us. We have seen Aria change from a completely helpless newborn to a crawling (almost walking), laughing, good humored, self entertaining, blabbering in her own language toddler! Our views and perspectives have shifted completely and I can honestly say that we are two different (and better for it) adults today than we were a year ago. Arusia, we love you so much! You light up our lives!
