her own room

After over a year and a half of all of us sleeping in the same room, Aria finally has her own room!  About a week ago we finally finished our long project of moving walls, removing windows, re-sizing closets, moving doors, removing asbestos shingles, taking out steps, painting and sanding.  Joe and I finally have our bedroom and Aria has a room she calls her own with a big bed, toys, room to play and other fun stuff!  Even though she has occasionally slept through the night in the past, she would still wake up often and want to nurse.  Once we moved, we decided to stop the night nursing and to make Joe respond to her at night (until now it has been me). I was very nervous about the transition, but wouldn't you know it that Aria did so well!  She only woke up 3 times the first night, just once the second night and that was it!  She now sleeps through the night and so do we!!!  I think it will be many years before I catch up on my sleep :)
