Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

For the first time ever, we didn't have to travel anywhere for the Holidays and we got to spend it at home with family and loved ones! Christmas eve, being a big deal in Poland, was celebrated in our house with lots of delicious Polish dishes made by Babcia Mira. Joe's parents, Ben and Allegra, and our cousins Beth and Dan all came over for a wonderful evening. Christmas morning we opened presents at our house followed by a trip to Bubbe's and Grandpa's house, where we got to open even more presents with our loved ones. A quick trip home for Aria's nap and then back to Bubbe's and Grandpa's for a wonderful Christmas day dinner and more family! It was a wonderful few days and it took Aria a little while to come down from all the sugar buzz. Unfortunately we all got sick shortly after and have been trying to get better since. For New Years, Joe and I went to a wonderful dinner at our favorite restaurant "Screen Door". We had plans to go to a party afterwards, but given that we weren't feeling well, we just came back home, got into our pajamas and stayed under the comforter on the couch till midnight. We wished each other and the cat a Happy New Year and went to bed. All in all, it was a wonderful week and I look forward to 2011 and what the new year will bring us!
