Hello Everyone! We have been absent from the blog scene for quite some time. All due to the fact that Babcia Mira will be opening her own food cart soon and we have been super busy with setting that up. More on that subject will be posted soon. But for now, I just wanted to share some Easter pictures. We celebrated easter with family and friends in our house. Babcia Mira cooked all the food in her new food cart and everything was a huge hit. We did all the traditional polish dishes including white borscht, regular borscht, potato salad, hunter's stew, beets, eggs, breads and two varieties of sausage. We also had some honey baked ham, which isn't very polish, but we like it too much to pass it up. There were about 5 different types of dessert plus coffee, tea, vodka and mimosas. After the brunch we all went outside (even though it was raining) and did an egg hunt for the kids. It was Aria, Aubrey, Lea and Kai. Lea being the oldest found almost all the eggs, but the kids had a blast anyway. Aria ate waaaay too much chocolate. People stayed till about 4pm. After everyone left we cleaned the house, ate some more food and went for a nice walk. All in all, it was a wonderful easter and we are lucky to have family so close to celebrate with them. Here are a few pictures. Happy Easter and spring everyone!
